Heating / AC

Hi can someone give me some help on this?
My heating / Ac unit is located under my refrigerator it has a tic tic ticking sound and won’t stop. It happens when I turn on my battery switch or when I turn on my generator.
Any thoughts
Thanks
Dan M

Well, it would be helpful to provide a little more info......like year and model of your coach/trailer for starters.

When you say your heater and AC is mounted under the fridge......do you mean the furnace and converter/fuse panel?

I assume your fridge is a propane/electric absorption fridge?

Turn down the thermostat for the furnace so it is not calling for heat and turn off the fridge (briefly to test where the tic tic is coming from). I am wondering if the tic tic sound is coming from the propane igniter systems of either your fridge or furnace. Turning those appliances off should stop the tic......assuming it’s one of those appliances. Once you find which gas appliance is doing the tic, then you will have to troubleshoot why it is not firing properly.

Likely a damp control board in the furnace. It will continue to tic until you dry it out and stop the moisture. Seal the trim piece surrounding the furnace where it meets the body when you are done drying it out.

He has a 2015 Thor ACE 29.3 from his one other post.

And his furnace is located under the fridge.

I got the ticking to stop. Ignitor switch.
Thanks to you who replied.
I now have an electrical outlet problem. My GFI in the bathroom won’t reset. I bought a new one and that won’t reset either. I reset all the circuit breakers under the bed and the GFI still won’t reset. Any ideas???
Thanks

Take the Ref lower cover Off on the outside ...there should be a outlet the ref is plugged into... take a look to make sure it is ok.

Lights work from 12 VDC: house batteries or converter
Outlets are 120 VAC: Shore Power (SP) or Generator

Two different systems.

Maybe your GFCI won't reset because you have a ground fault?
