HELP! Lost backup cam on the road

Help! Just hit the road and found out radio is dead. Was just working yesterday but we were on shore power. This is also our back up camera. Any idea where the fusebox might on 2018 Thor Windsport 34p?

Is your "Use/Store" button set to "Use"?

Sorry... I hate to ask.

Exclamation

If it's an Axxera radio, there should be a tiny reset button - on mine it's on the top of the radio bezel to the right of the mode button - press it with a toothpick or other small pointy object and hold it in for a second or two. That MIGHT solve the problem. It did for mine.

Well we've been on the road 2 weeks now. Strangest thing ever, the day after I posted this, we hit the road and, well, it just WORKED, and it's been working ever since. It was 19 degrees below zero the first day, not sure if that had anything to do with it. Probably not but who knows.

It took you two weeks to get back to us and let us know it started to work again the next day?

Yes. I do it all the time. Great for keeping watch on the TOAD and as extra eyes when changing lanes.

Depends on which model radio, apparently. On mine (an AVM80) I tap the upper left corner of the screen and several icons appear; I tap on the camera icon. Screen shows the rear view, and radio continues to play.

Be thankful it has stayed working. Mine comes and goes. With the help of a local audio shop the issue has been traced to a micro plug connector at the camera. I added some di-electric grease to the connector to hopefully make the connection more reliable. Worked great for initial tests, then the day we are headed out on the inaugural run with a tow vehicle, the dreaded NO SIGNAL appears for the whole trip.

Any thoughts how to make this connector reliable?

When your camara went out did the screen say "no signal" ? If so you will need to trace the video wire going from the camera box (silver box with all the camera wires going to it) located under dash to the radio it's a loose connection. Mine did the same thing, would have a picture one day and nothing the next, tap on dash over radio and back on again. Try that if it happens again.

I have 29.3 ace with axera radio reaches up under dash there were 3 bolts on each side of wood grain plastic frame that has radio ac & heat controls had to carefully work it out and everything comes out with that wood grain panel I checked all the connections and there is a box that has all cables from cameras connected to it tighten all of them put everything back together works great connections were loose hope this helps some radios have a trim around them that snaps off and u can get to screws to remove radio I had to pull whole assembly out
