Batteries

My 2018 Windsport 29 has 2 Interstate Calatron 12 v batteries in parallel. I cannot find any info on these. Are they true deep cycle? Is there a better battery or system?
Thanks

I am not familiar with your batteries but check the Interstate web page and see if they match anything they offer.

my rv batteries are actually 4 6volt batteries.if you parallel 2 batteries the voltage stays the same but amps double and in series the voltage double and amps stay the same,i have 2 sets of six volt batteries is series and each set is paralled to rv needles to say I can run my inverter with lights and fridge and tv running at least 8hrs,then run the generator a couple hours till there recharged and go another 8.

I have the same thing in my Windsport. Did you find any information on these? Are these maintenance free, have you had trouble with them? I know, a lot of questions!

I was just digging around in Interstate's website, and didn't see a thing about them...
Are they perhaps a marine or golf cart battery?

Batteries

I went to the interstate dealer. He told me they are dual purpose batteries and should be good. My unit goes to the dealer for some warranty work in October so will know then why the power keeps shutting off.
My big warranty concern is the overhead bunk comes down crooked and in fact gets stuck down.
