Help with slide out error code

Just arrived at at campground with new2018 Windsport 29M with full wall slide. Slide extended successfully but now see an error code on the controller LEDs that translates to “hall power short to ground “. The controller for the drop down bunk in the cab blinks the same error code. Can anyone offer guidance on cause/severity/fix?
Thanks.

A follow up. Discovered that the drop-down bunk over the frontera low and resting against the pins on the passenger side (pin jammed on that side, loose on the drivers side). I raised, reset the bunk and the error cleared. No more blinking LED’s, interesting. Wonder why that caused a short to ground error.

The error is telling the differences hall effect are out of tolerance, just if one was grounded. Any time one motor stops and the other keeps on turning you will get that error. Why it showed up on both controllers, not a clue.

Sometimes I get lucky. Thinking about it more and why both controllers showed the error. When I extended the room slide it didn’t budge at first; I hit retract and it moved ever so slightly; heard the motor turn just a bit, then worked fine. Wonder now if seeing the error on both controllers was simply because both were slightly “out”. Just a coincidence that it happened at the same time. Thanks for the explanation, big help.

I've heard it said in here, that you can re-sync your slides by holding the button down for just a few seconds after things stop moving.

Yup. Do that religiously, in this case I think they both “moved” via vibration driving down our NY roads. Had it not been for the pins, the bunk would dropped further still Will have to monitor on my next trip.
