Most FLAPs (friendly local auto parts store) have a great selections of fuse assortments. Most Amazon assortments include fuses you will never have a reason to use. 5, 10, 15, 30 and 40 amps ATC/APO/APR fuses will cover most needed. If you want to plan ahead, you can get some MAXI/APX fuses used in the high amperage situation in the 40 to 80 amp sizes but buy carefully as they are expensive. My selling dealer gave me a comprehensive assortment of spare fuses. I have only had to replace 2 ATC fuses in 5 years.

I have a bag of fuses I have been carrying in all my RVs since the 90s. It has probably 50 fuses in it and has come in handy once or twice.

Keep in mind, motorhome builders put their own fuses onto the F53 chassis. Ask me how I know. Spent numerous hours tracking down why my dash Ac/heat blower quit. It ended up being a fuse installed by Fleetwood supplying power to the blower speed switch. It was wire tied and shoved up in the dash above the emergency brake. No identification to it or 2 other fuses connected to it. Here it is with a regular crimp connector, not Ford wiring. They use white for 12 volt positive.

You are right. I doubt the Ford dealer would have even known about it. These factories should have a book showing where each fuse is located and a label on the fuse itself.

My fridge didn't come on. No light, nothing. Checked fuse panel. Interesting. There was a red indicator light on beside a 15 amp fuse. Replaced that fuse. Magic. Refrigerator back on. I never new there was an indicator light.
