Axis 24.1 Tire pressures

Just bought a new 2016 Axis 24.1 and have a tire question. The placard on the drivers side below the window states the front tire pressure should be 80 psi and the rear 75 psi. All 4 of my rear tires came with 55--60 psi and the front tires at 80 psi. Do you inflate to 75 psi on the rear dual wheels, or did Camping World inflate the tires improperly ? Thanks

I'm running 75 psi in the front tires and 70 psi on the rear tires and it seems to handle quite well. IMO 55-60 is too low for your rear tires.

Always double check CW or anybody's work if you can... Really, tire pressure is something each RV owner should learn and be very aware of at all times. Weigh your rig and adjust pressures according to the tire's recommended values with a few lb error margin to the high side vs. lower.

I run the same tire pressures Larry posted, though until having real coach weights to justify going lower, it's probably best to follow the placard values.

After having mine weighed and checking Michelin's chart I run mine at 70 front, 65 rear. Seems to work well, so far.

Regards,

Randy

Axis 24.1 Tire pressures

Is your 2015 Axis 24.1 on the Ford E-350 chassis or the E-450 chassis like my 2016 ? I suppose that could make a difference.
