Hot Water Tank

I have a 2017 Thor Outlaw 23h toy hauler. The hot water pilot will not fire. Tried propane and electrical. Ran the propane on the stove for a few minutes to move the propane. I hear it trying to start but will not. Can I stick a scripto at the pilot? Or is that danderous?

There is no pilot light. The DSI lights the propane on demand. After timing out you get the "pilot out" LED.

Have you inspected the unit outside, like actually removed the exterior cover and looked at the unit for any obvious clues e.g. secondary valve, external switch.
While your in there you could check and see I'd your getting voltage to the electric gas valve.
You could even loosen the hose to see if you have gas at the valve.
