Hot and Cold Water cris-cross

I have a ACE THOR 29.3. Hot water comes out on the right side of every faucet and toilet. Is this typical? If not, any recommendations other than taking back to dealer to switch lines?

Hot water in the toilet suggests something is messed up at the water heater.

When you look on the inside of the water heater what color and where are the pipes connected? (The cold lines will be blue and should be on the bottom, the hot line would be on the top and red.)

I suppose that the question to ask, is how handy are you with plumbing?
If it were me: it'd be back at the dealership...

Do you get "cold" water from the hot water faucets? Does the water coming from your cold water faucets cool off when ran for awhile or stay hot?

I would start by looking at the valves nearest your hot water heater. I'm wondering if something is turned to bypass that shouldn't be. There is a valve in or near your water heater that prevents hot water from coming back up your fresh water line. Mine went bad in an old RV I had and it allowed steaming hot water to come into my toilet. In that case the water cooled when ran for awhile.

If the red and blue lines are properly connected to the right sides of the faucets then is has to be either how the valves are positioned or the water lines at the water heater are reversed. Either way it should be an easy fix.

There's a thread going on reversed hot/cold that might help:

Besides checking the bypass, you might check your outdoor shower and see if the shut-off is on on the head and the cold and hot is turned on at the faucet.

If so, that would allow hot and cold to.mix
