Air Compressor Needed?
New to RVing and making list to check for departure and I keep coming up with needing an air compressor. My tire label plate calls for 82 psi and other things like floats or a quick blast of air for any reason may be needed. Where can I go besides a tire store to get 82 + psi for the tires? My home compressor gets to 80 max. Is there a small compressor out there that can be carried (running out of room) that will cover my issues? Where do most of you top off yours tires at?

I fill up at home with this guy. I probably could fit it in the RV if I had to but that would mean a bunch of stuff would have to be removed.

An air compressor that is "stretched-out" to it's limits, is probably not going to fit the bill...
Look for one with a 125 to 150 psi max. setting, and you'll be pretty happy with the job that it does for you.
I bought my 125 psi compressor at Walmart...

CFM is most important. Even though a given compressor can reach 150psi, if it takes 45 minutes to do that...no good...it will overheat and you have to let it cool off. "Cubic Feet per Minute" is vital and a measurement of the volume the pump puts out..

That's a real good point: it takes a long time to cook a steak; with a cigar lighter!

- This is what I use. Fits behind the cat box under the rear dinette cushion. On at 90 psi off at 135 psi. I carry 35 ft of 1/4" black air line with a chuck.

I use the same thing. It is actually called a tire inflator since it does not have a tank. 12 volt or 110 volt.

I have this same one too. Fairly quiet, pumps fast, not heavy.

Youtubers the Rvgeeks highlight a compressor they use. They've been full timing 14 years.

I have this one and like it better than using my onboard air.
