How can you adjust the hot water heater? We have a 2017 Windsport 34P

The water temp is not adjustable, by having to add cold it makes the hot water last longer.

Is it ok to leave the water heater on if only used once or twice a day?

Absolutely, we turn ours on when we arrive and turn it off when we leave. Just make sure it's on electric, the water heater will go thru propane like crazy!

Make sure it is full of water too - and not still on bypass from winterizing... or drained between uses... Quick way to fry an electric element...
But if full of water - certainly ok to leave on...

Easy way to drop hot water temp is to adjust HWH bypass valve - mixing cold and hot till you find that just right temp.

Need to let someone with same model answer that question. Usually behind hot water heater or on Kantleak panel.

If your water heater is under the sink like ours the valve is there too. The valve will be right by the heater even if it is in a different location.

With young grandchildren it is nice to drop temps w/o playing with valves or depending on them to adjust shower controls before it's too late. I've noticed that both my RVs that in the shower if you use the on/off button on shower head hot always comes gushing out before cold kicks back in.
If you have the Atwood 6 gal electric and gas type you could change to an adjustable type. I had one of these on my last motorhome and worked perfectly. It was a retro fit and appears would probably work on my new MH. But, kids are now 10 and 13 and I haven't really seen a need when they are that old. They understand what they need to do.
Look around and find an Atwood 93105 Adjustable Electronic Thermostat. It was very simple to install and worked great. It has like 4-5 different temperature settings. Hope this helps, Dennis.
