Hour glass in control panel

I have a 2016 Thor ACE 30.1
In the left top corner of the control panel is a rectangular window with the Hours that the generator has run.
In the left top corner of this little window is an hour glass symbol that blinks when the generator is running. Does this symbol have any more significance besides showing that the generator is running?
Does it go steady when the batteries are fully charged?

The hour glass just shows the hours meter is accumulating hours.
