House Batteries Connections

After winterizing my 2018 Thor Hurricane 29M, the guy who did the work for me did not note how the dual house batteries were connected. He removed the batteries due to the fact that it will be stored out side in Alaska until spring, I was out of town for the winterizing prep. Here is what I know:
1. The batteries are connected in parallel to preserve the 12VDC and double the amp hour rating of the batteries.
2. To accomplish this the positive and negative terminals of each battery are connect together.
3. There are 4 other wires in the compartment, 2 with red terminal covering, 1 with yellow terminal covering and one with blue terminal covering,

I have taken pictures of the now empty compartment.
Can some one please send me pictures of properly connected dual house batteries for a 29M battery compartment.
Note: have 50 amp system with 1000 watt inverter.

I have a Windsport 29M with 2 coach batteries. Here is a photo of how they are connected (took this photo when the unit was new for future reference). The positive terminals are on the left of the photo. Tight fit but should provide some help. Click image for larger version

Peel the wire loom back and see what color the cables are, you correct that the batteries are in parallel neg to neg pos to pos these are the interconnect cables then you should have a pos and neg would go to your inverter and one for slide out power and the other would be the aux that would tie into the relay for a switch to use house battery for starting,or to the generator.

sorry forgot to add that it wouldn't help to take any pics of mine as I use 4 6volt batteries for house side because they last much longer than 2 12v

Kind Sir; the photo you provided is a god send, it is exactly what I needed and will allow me to take my baby out next spring,
If I knew where to send it , a refrigerated box of our famous salmon, would be setting on your front door step

Thank you so very much.

You’re welcome. Didn’t want you worrying about it all winter (that’s what I would have done in that predicament)!

If I was you I would mark each cable with tape showing Pos or Neg and which battery (FRONT or BACK) it goes on for future reference. That what I did so there is not confusion in the spring.

When I was in my teenage years, the “show me yours I’ll show you mine” almost got me to stay single. When she saw mine, she said “wow, can I play with it” and idiot me replied “no way, you broke yours, you ain’t gonna break mine”
