"Waking batteries" applies to Lithium BMS, not LA batteries.
You didn't inform us what RV you have so we're clueless.
If the house batteries are too dead to operate the Emergency Start relay it won't matter how long you hold it, but starting the engine may activate the same relay depending on what BIM/BIRD/IRD setup you have.
