House battery not charging while driving

My 2018 ACE 27.2 has the lighted rocker switch for use/store. If I’m plugged in to SP and it’s in the store mode, my Renogy meter (shunt based) doesn’t show charging. Click it and the amps jump substantially. Thor miswured my BIM, I corrected it, but never saw much change.

I was having this issue and could not find a problem then I accidently found a video about WAKING THE BATTERIES. if they drop below 10% charge they go into a sleep mode and won't charge until you wake them. Thor made a video explaining how to do it but the gist is you hold the emergency start switch next the the steering wheel for 10 or 15 seconds. I did it while the coach was running. You will hear some clicks and noises in the electrical area and then the batteries will start to charge.

"Waking batteries" applies to Lithium BMS, not LA batteries.
You didn't inform us what RV you have so we're clueless.

If the house batteries are too dead to operate the Emergency Start relay it won't matter how long you hold it, but starting the engine may activate the same relay depending on what BIM/BIRD/IRD setup you have.
