house battery replacement Generator, leveling, step not working

I had an RV service company come out to replace the house batteries. This is on a 2017 Palazzo 33.2. The technician removed one of the 6-volt jumpers which IK and he thought was the main grounding lead. Turned out it wasn't which was discovered when removing the main positive lead much sparking. when powering up stuff this morning found that the leveling system, the coach steps and the generator don't have power. seems to me that either a wire wasn't connected, or a relay got fried from a power surge. Has anyone experienced anything similar.

Yep, lots of people have that don't have any experience replacing batteries, don't prepare by labeling all cables and don't take pictures of existing installation. You got the same result by hiring a "professional" to do it for you. Did you pay this guy? Called the company to come fix their screw-up?

You could have:
Cables connected incorrectly
Cables not connected
Blown breakers
Blown fuses

Any combination of the above issues.

Sucks that you paid someone to cause the issue. Hopefully just a breaker or fuse. I would be calling the company that did the service and get them out there to fix it on their dime.

Just for giggles how much did the RV Service Company charge for batteries and the labor?

Take good pictures of the battery compartment ASAP. Touch nothing. Call RV Service company and tell them what happened and tell them you need a qualified battery installer. They will not be surprised their Tech screwed up. He may be new on the job. Give them the chance to fix.

Have you paid them? If you used credit card, I will file a claim that serves was note rendered and you are waiting to for them to come back out.

If you paid cash

How much you paid is relevant. The more information you provide, the better help you can get. Pictures may help someone to see where or how it is wired wrong.

Spinal fusion recovery and battery changes don't mix

I appreciate your sentiments but when you are recovering from s-1 to t-12 spinal fusion you need help lifting things. I would like a place to focus my and their attention.

Post #2 lists possible faulty functions.

to the best of my ability, I checked all those things first. I can't find any schematics to assist further.

is there a fuse to power those items. there is no breaker indicated on any of the fuse panels. I also don't think charge controller is staying on, but when it says battery fully charged.

The generator and hydraulic leveling pump are powered through a 100 amp DC breaker, located near the house batteries. If the flag is out, it is tripped. Push the flag back in to reset it.

The steps usually have their own inline fuse but may also get power from the 100 amp breaker on the Palazzo.

Solar is likely an aftermarket installation.

The last post was the problem. Those fuses are not in any Thor provided literature or manual. This is great info to stick in the back of your mind for future reference. my great thanks for the nudge in the correct direction!

If you have the electrical diagrams those breakers are shown.
