Problems with cable TV

Thor has a tendancy to screw up the same way in each motorhome - at least they are consistant!

My question - has anyone found where the bad connection is which affects the cable being snowy?

The antenna power button is not on and the cable signal was perfect when connected individually to the outside TV. New outside connector as well.

Just wondering if anyone has found a specific connector that caused this problem prior to my hunt!

My rig has three tv's. Found one splitter behind the plate with green light ....one connector was loose there. Found the other splitter for back, outside tv under shower floor accessible by removing the outside speaker. Found the input wire there improperly stripped and loose.

PS Thor tech line was no help. They said splitter is placed anywhere the installer feels like that day.

I have 5 TV's...crazy I know - only have two in my house! I will look for the connections when this heat way dies down. Love the heat but unbearable in a unairconditioned couch in my driveway.

Yes two of my TVs coaxial connectors to the TV weren't tight and the TV was snowy. The bedroom TV will loosen over time and travel so I check that one periodically.

May I also add that as long as you are splitter hunting, when you find one replace it with a better quality (gold) splitter. I found its makes a difference.

Found the same thing - loose and poor quality splitters.
