Humming from Radio

Hello Folks, searched everywhere in this forum and on FB (Thor pages) and couldn't find anything so hoping y'all can help me out.

We have a 2018 Thor Vegas 25.5 with the Axerra radio/screen in front, last week on our cross country trip, the radio starting whining/humming. When you turn the music up louder it stays the same, but any idea what this could be or what I need to do. Dealer we just took it too said our 3rd party warranty wouldn't cover it.

Thoughts and thank you!

Mike

Does your rear camera have a mic? I had that issue with the Challenger when we first bought it and it turned out to be the rear mic was picking up road noise.

Perhaps it hums because it has forgotten the words...

Noise isolators are about 5 to 29 bucks on amazon
https://www.amazon.com/s?k=Radio+noise+filter&ref=is_s

The radio in my offroad vehicle does the hum you describe due to a loose wire at the amp.
It's behind my glove compartment so I just slam the door and it quits for a while.
Mine does it at the same volume even when in map or some other mode than radio. I suspect it's the common ground for the speakers getting some power from somewhere, a knicked wire maybe.

Loose wire jiggled and the stuff in the link installed should fix you up.
It bothers the hell out of me, but I don't want to delve into the wire nest bad enough.
I think any stereo install place would have it fixed in fifteen minutes.

As far as humming goes:
Show tunes is the answer... Show... Tunes....
