Tire Valve Extensions, Where to get?
Hello all, total noob here. My 62 yo wife bought a 2019 Thor 22GO for girl camping trips, but she knows nothing about how the thing works.
I'm a retired engineer and I am trying to make this machine safe for the users. I first put my eyes on it yesterday and noticed the valve stems on the rear are not visible. My son who lives elsewhere, but is an experienced RVer, said we have hub caps over the rear wheels and the valves are underneath the hub caps.
I'm preparing a checklist for the girl campers and #1 on the list will be tire pressure, but out of sight is out of mind and I know wifey won't check them if its inconvenient.
So to the point, where should we take it to have valve stem extensions installed (or is that even a good idea)? Is it a tire shop or RV service place?
This is the first of my elementary questions. There will likely be more. Thanks in advance for helping a nooby.
