Axis 24.1 Fan Issues

When I first got my 2015 Axis 24.1, one of the fans in the coach did not work. Now the second one is also not working. Are the fans fused inside of the fan assembly or are they fused separately? If so, where might the fuse be located?

Looks to me that the rear fan may be connected to the #4 fuse in the converter box under the fridge, while the front fan may be connected to the #2 fuse in the same place.

Replaced and No Joy

I replaced both fuses ... only one looked suspect. Neither of these did the trick to get the fans working again. I wonder out loud if there is a fuse for these in the engine compartment.

I do not believe that there is. All the Thor add ons aft of the dash board are fused in separate Thor fuse boxes in the outside compartment under the drivers seat and attached to the converter-charger. The living room and bedroom fans are apparently fused separately, so it seems weird that both would go out. I assume you have magic fans in both locations and the covers are open?

Magic Fans

Good question ... yes, they are both open. I have experience with them from other units I have owned. What got me is that both fans failed at different times. I assume the fan itself is not fused in the assembly. I have been thinking about replacing them with a simpler fans BUT that would not fix the problem is they are fused else where.

looks Like I was wrong. A different set of installation instructions mentions a fuse under a dime size cap. Never had one blow in the ten years I have had one - never mind two. Also a thought - make sure the thermostat is not keeping the fan from coming on.
