Installing window awnings

Look for the group expertise again. I have ordered window awning for the drivers side windows on my FE 26HE. Any recommendations on the best sealant to put on the screws when I install?

Thanks Bob, I figured as much. We are hoping this will help us keep windows open more when it rains and keep some of the sun off and still let some Air in on those more sunny days.

I think that you don't want to use the "self-leveling" Dicor. Try the other version of it.

I’m getting ready to put 2 awnings (Carefree) on the slide wall windows. Hoping it allows me to trash the reflection stuff so I can see out the windows. Each mounting strip has 10 self tapping screws holding it. Videos look like I just screw it into the exterior wall. Hope it holds and works. Anyone else done this?

Here’s the finished product. Reduces window heat from 128 degrees to 100.
