Interior lighting

just purchased 2018 28z. I have a dead sw under the kitchen cabinets and the only sw we have for main room lights is at the base of the stairway. Is this dead sw supposed to control room lights its a 3 gang sw assembly. The other 2 switches control the sink lights and the table lights. If so how can I get a wire schematic for this lighting?

Are the outside light switches accounted for? awning lights, scare lights, pump switch?

Referencing your request for electrical schematics: If you have not yet done so, create an account on the Thor owner website: https://www.thormotorcoach.com/owner-login/. You will need to register your VIN number. Once in your account, you will find many documents that will help you with your RV. If you select the "schematics" section on the dropdown, you may find the electrical schematics. If not, send them an email, with the VIN,requesting the schematics. I had to wait several days, but they did arrive.

I received this advice from another forum member, and it was very beneficial.

Problem solved - the 3rd switch is for the overhead power vent and the sw at the base of the stairs is the only room light sw. Thanks everyone for your help.

Glad you figured it out. I'm in the process of putting some labels on the unmarked switches. Just FYI, Amazon and others sell 12 remote control switches that would enable you to not have to go to the steps for on/off control. You would have to insert the module in series behind the switch at the door. With wiring it this way, you would have to have both switches on for the lights to work (vs a 3-way switch that allows either of two switches to work the same lights). https://www.amazon.com/DONJON-Wirele...xpY2s9dHJ1ZQ==
