Interior Maintenance

Hi. Just picked up my new to me 2016 Axis. As you would expect a few minor things inside need a little tlc. Is anyone aware of a book or manual about how to do minor disassembly to access things not working, like USB ports on the bedroom? Thanks in advance!

PS: a recommendation on where to buy Thor parts would be greatly appreciated also!

I know of no manual, it's kind of a seat of the pants thing to me. Lots of looking at the problem, plenty of pictures and tons of planning. I just replaced my Thor installed USB port in the bedroom of my Hurricane. It was a two port jobber and I found a 4 porter on Amazon. Same size and was a direct replacement. I do some of my research on youTube and also use etrailer.com as a reference for parts. They usually have manuals for the stuff they sell and sometimes videos. Although they may not be the exact part Thor used, I don't mind. As mentioned Amazon is a great source for RV parts. Good luck.

Thor assembles the box from parts readily available on the net.

Other than cabinet and body carcasses, there are very few actual Thor parts to buy.

YouTube;
How to change RV outlets
How to add RV USB
How to change RV water pump.

Manuals are not needed.

Do not be specific.
A 12v light swwitch is a switch is a switch(or close enough)

Panels only go in one way with Thor;
Sloppily, with staples and when screws are used half of them miss the stud.
Any vid will show you the basics...then you adapt.
There's a video series on youtube where brothers rebuild a burned out axis.
I took 100 still shots of
Stud placement
Wiring channels
Door frames
Roof seams.

I don't have a link.

Almost all the fittings in any RV are "off the shelf" standard parts that can often be purchased at your RV dealer, Camping World, or ordered online from one of these sources.

https://www.amazon.com/
https://parts.unitedrv.com/
https://www.etrailer.com/
https://www.campingworld.com/

The only "Thor" parts are things like cabinet doors, replacement fender trim, Thor branded items, and anything custom made for your RV.
For those Pesky Thor parts that you cannot find at one of the sources above you can call Thor at the number listed in the owner's materials. Be sure to have your VIN number available when you call.
