Intermittent water pump pressure problem solved

Last month I replaced water pump. Worked great for two weekends. Last weekend it started to pump intermittently with great water fluctuations.

Problem: Water filter was filled with plastic shavings from the fresh water tank! See pic.

Fix: Cleaned and problem solved.

I could not find anything with an online search for intermittent water pump pressure, esp seeing it was a brand new pump, so place this one in the recess of your mind if this problem ever comes up.

But the problem with the suction strainer filled with plastic shavings causing problems has been discussed dozens of times - a common Thor issue.

Wow! I need to check mine because we have that issue. Thor’s quality control at the factory is non existent!

It may have teen discussed but it was not available to me in my search- hence I bring it up here. Duh!
