Inverter Outlets

Y2018 THOR WINDSPORT 29M
INVERTER CIRCUIT

My inverter outlets are 3 in number, i.e. 2 TV’s and one outlet in the passenger seat area (for laptop hookup). I use a CPAP machine nightly so I need another inverter outlet at bedside. Currently, both bedside outlets are standard 120VAC type. On night #2, I ran an extension cord across the bedroom to the TV outlet (inverter circuit) and had CPAP running all night.

So…has anyone converted a bedside 120VAC outlet to an inverter circuit outlet ?? The inverter is under the bed so it would appear to be simple to convert the existing outlet to an inverter outlet. Additional details needed, thanks in advance.

I haven't done that but I did run 12 VDC to my side of the bed and installed a "Power Port" so I could plug in the 12 VDC cable for my BiPAP. More efficient since the machine runs off DC voltage anyway.

Different coach but from the same plant 750. There is a junction box just behind the the inverter's output where all the wires for the inverter 120 volt powered circuits terminate. In my coach, the left and right under bed circuits are powered by different 15 amp breakers. So, you can move one of the 15 amp Romex cables to the junction box or you can run a separate section of Romex from the inverter to the duplex receptacle. Be sure to use a junction box to continue the original daisy chain wiring.
