Just in time for Xmas water heater

On the road for a month now all going well. Until the water heater stopped working. 2018 wind sport. Went out for the day heater was on and working well. When we came home water was cold and heater would not light. Tried with 110 v on and off. Fuses are ok. Breaker ok. It was intermittent for a while and now nothing. Anyone else encounter this. May be a smelly Xmas lol

Look on the bright side...

Santa won't have any trouble finding you...

Good luck: please let us know what the cause of the problem is (or was)

I could not get mine to fire up one time (Mine is gas only) so I turned off the switch (outside behind the access door) for a couple of minutes then turned it back on. The I went back in side and I turned the thermostat back on and set temp. It fired right back up.

I think before I tried this the thermostat had an error code or would not respond to inputs but this cleared the code/fix it for me.

Merry Xmas water heater

As last resort I went out to heater and wiggled the wires around and magic it started. Amazing. Originally Ikept water heater on all the time. Someone suggested turning it off during the day after showers. I started doing this and then had my problem started. Not sure if this caused heater not to ignite but now that it is working not turning it off.Weird. Merry Christmas.

Thats good. You better check your connections so you dont have this problem again. Plus you dont want any fire hazzards.

I always leave mine on while camping and on the way to and from the destination because my wife likes the hot water to washer her hand in while on the road (and at CG).
