Landing Gear Motor Popping Fuses

Had a new switch installed for landing gear motor. Now it is popping fuses left and right when the unit is raising. Am thinking it may be a bad switch OR weak motor. Unable to access motor due to Generator placement. Any suggestions on what to check first. The fuse size that was in it and still popping is 40amp.

More details needed: model and year of coach, was it blowing fuses before switch replaced, why was switch replaced, who replaced switch, is engine runnning during motor use?

unit info

2007 Winners Circle Toy Hauler model 36SRV. Had new switch replaced at RV dealership due to not working. Was not blowing fuses before. Hope to get a chance to look at it this weekend.

Blowing a 40 amp fuse is a MAJOR overload.

There is a pin in the shaft to fasten the landing gear to the shaft might have sheered or fallen our
