Tire inflation

Where is the best place to inflate your tires. Or does everyone have air compressor.

I have a compressor, but a good place is truck stops, they have to have compressors to fill up those big tires

Someplace close to home - as you want to fill/check pressures with tires cold. I have a compressor and extra hose to get around the MH - but check with local gas stations if you aren't near a truck stop...

Was nice when they all had free air with an unregulated high pressure line - not sure the 'pay' or 'automatic' machines would deliver the pressure or volume.

I have a small pancake compressor that is large enough for the motor home and air tools but small enough to fit in one of my storage compartments. Depending on the climate where you live a compressor is also good for dry winterizing if necessary.

You need a air compressor that will air up a tire to 90-100 lbs. of pressure.
You can find decent one's at Sear's, Home Depot, Lowes and Harbor Freight.

I have a home compressor (Craftsman 26 gallon) that I bought second hand
off of craigslist for $200. You can find a lot of different one's for $100-200.

You can also get the tires air pressure checked at a truck tire shop.
