Extra Hot/Cold Supply Line

I just purchased a 2018 Freedom Elite 29FE and when fixing a leak under the kitchen sink I found an extra hot and cold supply line that are both capped off.

Any ideas what this could have been for/could be used for? Knowing what I know about Thor QC, it could have been installed by accident.

Do you have an outside shower? If no shower that’s what it may have been intended for, somebody may have had their head stuck in a dark place and not paying attention to what they were doing.

No outdoor shower so guessing they just messed up.

Many cars today have stubbed wiring all over the place. The wiring harness includes this for options that may not have been ordered. It's cheaper to make "one harness fits all". It could be the same scenario if an outside shower was an option on that model or if they use the same layout of plumbing for several different models.

My 2018 29fe has the two lines described above. I always thought it strange since no outside shower is offered in that model. Best guess is that it is part of a standard plumbing make up used in many other models.

I thought those were for a whole-coach water filter. Mine came with a filter, but no filter housing.

Welcome to the forum!

If you contact Thor customer service, and give them your RV's V.I.N.: they can mail you a schematic of the plumbing (wiring, framing, and electrical also!).
If you've got a filtration system: it'll help you track down where they hid it.

I don't think the filtration system would have hot and cold...just cold routed to the main intake.

Over the year and a half since I've owned this coach I've requested the schematics 3 different times...2 via their owner's section of the Thor website and once via phone. I still don't have them.

Sounds like it could be in the area for the:
Low point drains not ran all the way, outside shower not installed, or hot water heater bypass
