Angry Leaky shower drain

My shower started leaking today in my Vegas 25.2 and After removing the tiny inspection port and doing some testing I was able to locate the leak.

When the drain was installed at the factory they overtightened the nut that holds the drain pipe from drain to trap assembly on. It had broken the plastic flange in a couple of places. Boy, what a miserable place to try to replace parts.

If you have a problem with your drain take a look there. Hopefully this will save someone a few hours of searching and testing. The water ran out from under the bedroom and hall walls, hopefully the 1/8" paneling will dry out without any damage.
