LED clearance light.

My 2019 Thor ACE 29.3 has one of the small cab clearance lights not working. Thor told me they are LED but of course cannot sell me one.

Has anyone repaired or replaced one of these? Is my only option a Dealer?

Thanks in advance for any help.

If it is one of the round ones with a rubber grommet around it, there are tons of them for sale on ebay. Pop it out, measure it and buy some spares on ebay. I had a couple of the LED running lights go out on my Hurricane, I found them on ebay and bought a package of 24 for less than 10 bucks. Now I have spares and my lawn tractor has LED headlights.

I did find LED lights on eBay and Amazon. I ordered ten.

I am not good at posting links but I ordered 3/4 inch light with 1 inch grommet. I hope they are the right ones and will post again when they arrive.

Thanks for the link but the LED lights I am replacing are the ones on top of the cab. I would call them clearance lights.

Update — I pulled the non working LED Amber Over cab light and found the terminal pulled off the end of the wire. Thor crimped a #22 wire in a 16/14 size connector. Not good. I fished the wire out through the 3/4 inch hole and had just enough wire to splice back together. I checked the other cab lights and another one was loose and the wire pulled right out. I spliced that one also. Poor workmanship on Thor.

I did order 10 new LED lights on eBay but did not need them. Now I have spares and hope I never need them.

2nd update—Unhappy with my repair through the 3/4 inch hole outside the coach I did some searching and found and access panel above the overhead bunk. I was able to do a better splice job there and checked all the wire connections. I did not find any other bad connections but now I have peace of mind that everything is repaired right.

I don't have your rv, but I had a side marker led go out on mine. I took the light out and looked on the back of the fixture and saw who made the light. With a little bit of internet search I was able to contact the manufacturer and called them. They do not sell directly to the public, but informed me that I could purchase a fixture from NAPA. And that's what I did.

Thanks for that NAPA info. The LED I needed are available on eBay and Amazon about $1 a piece.

LED CLEARANCE light

ACE 30.3 My bus has some led lights that are on whenever you drive. One was out, Camping World supposedly fixed it with a whole new headlight assembly for the passenger side. It guit working by the time I got home. Took it off myself and it was a bad connection at that light. Might check the wire connection up top if that is where it is

I found two loose wires at crimped terminals for the Amber LED cab lights. I hope that person did not do other wiring on my coach.

My front overhead bunk would not come down. Finally figured out how to get to actuators and I found a bad crimp on a terminal at the actuator at the first connection I probed! I redid all of them in there.

A little scary with all the electrical connections in a motor home. I plan to check all the wires I have access to.

Put some pro cell sealant around them. I had water intrusion coming in running down wire and dripping from drivers side under window

Just curious how you get to the access panel above the overhead bunk? I tried, but couldn't find any info related to it somehow...... Thanks.
