2018 Thor Axis - Cigarette Lighter Fuse Location

Hello All,

Does anyone know the location of the fuse that corresponds to the cigarette lighter/charger in the dash? We are on a road trip and the fuse has blown and we can't power our satellite radio. The Ford manual is useless. Is there a different name for a "cigarette lighter"?
We dropped into a Ford Dealership for for help but they don't help with motor homes and when we dropped by an RV repair place the guy said it would cost $100/hr for him to hunt it down. I sent a message to Thor...no response yet.

There are 3 locations for fuses in this vehicle. We assume the fuse is one of the fuses under the dash but WHICH one??

Thanks for any help....in the meantime we are trying to find a store that sells a usb cord to connect the sirius radio to power it...easy to buy online, not so easy to locate in an actual store.

2018 Thor Axis - Cigarette Lighter Fuse Location

Do a search here on this forum for “cigarette lighter” and you’ll see some info that should help find your problem with the fuse, etc.

Also, Walmart electronics dept.may have a USB adapter you’re searching for.

Don't bother to call Thor because they don't know but I found it myself under the hood driver side front next to a solenoid there's a separate fuse holder holds a 30 amp fuse at powers most of the dash. Hope this helps

Gerachandler, if your Axis fuses are in or near the same area as the Hurricane. In the manual it was called Aux port, or something weird like that. Mine was under the hood at the firewall, large 30 amp I believe. Sure hope it helps you. Also If you have a fuse tester that will help very much.

Thanks everyone...we have been unable to find the fuse box under the hood and have given up....this was our "shakedown cruise" and we will be dropping the Axis off for a few repairs when we get home.
We LOVE our Axis...in spite of the cig lighter issue.

My 2018 Vegas fuse for the cig lighter port was under the hood, right hand side toward rear, 30A.

Two places to look.

Have you downloaded Ed’s Axis manual. There is a wealth of info in there and I believe this is in there somewhere.

you guys are awesome. Ours wasn't working as we started out yesterday (why do things always happen when we are in a hurry). We had to scramble to find a different charger for our GPS so now it is time to dive under the hood.

The Ford user's manual labels it as a "power port"

I'll ask:
How do you know its the Thor receptacle and not the fuse in your power cord?
What else have you tried in the receptacle and where else have tried your cord?
