Water pump

My water pump works but when I turn the water on it spits water and air not a steady stream. It shuts off when you turn off the water but not a consistent stream. Big pain trying to take a shower. Tuscany if that matters. I thought I would just buy a new pump to see it that helps. Thought about getting a more powerful pump.

Is your winterization valve closed? Rebuild the pump you have. Amazon is your friend. they have rebuild kits. easy to do.

Unless your pump is cracked, replacing it is not going to fix the air leak into your system. The ant-freeze suction valve may be the problem or the suction strainer.

Air is getting into the suction line before the water pump. You have a loose fitting, a pin hole in the input line, a PEX band clamp loose or the filter could be loose.

In addition to the above suggestions, check your connections between the water tank and the pump. Make sure they're all tight. And take a look at the lines to see if there are an cracks or leaks.
