No water from water pump

2016 Thor Vegas 25.3

We bought this coach new in December and have only taken one trip. During that first trip, we were always in campgrounds and had access to water, so we never used the fresh water tank or the water pump. I did have to open the bypass valve to the water heater to get hot water the first night as it was closed from the factory. The coach was winterized after the trip, including draining the water heater and reversing the valve. In preparation for a trip this week, I dewinterized, reset the water heater valve, and flushed the lines while hooked up to a water faucet. I then disconnected the water source, filled the fresh water tank, turned on the water pump....and nothing. The red water pump light on the monitor panel comes on, but there is nothing moving through the lines and out the faucets...no air, no water. Have I missed something...is there a switch or a valve that has to be reset to go from city water to the water tank? Thanks for any suggestions.

If you have a valve on the side of the pump for drawing in antifreeze check it, pump may be trying to draw from there and not the tank.

Exclamation

do you have a Anderson 4-way valve in the wetbay?

if so, the valve must be turned to 'Normal' to bring water from the water tank via the water pump...

if no 4-way valve, then you may have a water tank 'cutoff' valve somewhere that is turned OFF...not allowing the water pump to bring water from the tank.

As far as I know: No Axis/Vegas unit has the Anderson system--its all individual valves hidden throughout the coach.

My guess is the same valve that yourself and SuperD have mentioned: The one between the tank and the pump used for winterizing (turning off the tank source so that it will draw from the antifreeze port).

"turned on the water pump....and nothing. The red water pump light on the monitor panel comes on, but there is nothing moving through the lines and out the faucets...no air, no water."

Are you saying that the water pump is not making any sounds either? If the light is on at the switch but the pump is not even running then either the water pump is caput or it isn't getting power.

If it is humming or making pumping sounds then either there is a water valve in the wrong position or for some reason it is not self priming.
