Leveling leak

We were driving I 84 E and the leveling system started beeping and the “Jacks down” light started blinking and beeping. Pulled into a rest stop and fluid was leaking like crazy. We did make it to the closest RV park and hopefully will have an RV tech here tomorrow. My question is are the jacks under more pressure when down or up? I would think down. Wondering if it is more a hose or the pump itself seeing jacks were up and we were traveling over rough roads (I 84 in Pennsylvania). Anyone have a thought?

The jack's control valves have two different pressure sensors. One for the high pressure limit and one for a low pressure limit. The high pressure limit switch (usually 3,000 psi) is a pump limit to keep from over extending the jacks and blowing the lines or jack seals the jacks. The low pressure limit switch is the return line pressure limit (usually 50 psi). If the return line pressure drops below 50 psi, the pump will re-pressurize the return lines to keep the jacks in the retracted system.

Usually there are two failure items in the low pressure return lines: abrasion on a wear point or a crimp fitting failure due to an faulty crimp. NAPA can make you a new line.
