Leveling Ramps snapped in half

I bought these last year. We use for front tires to raise rv and snapped.
Any suggestions for replacements from my fine friends?

Opinions and real world success differs greatly, but my experience with plastic leveling devices for our class C is disappointing. While the plastic "Legos" worked great for our trailer... not much success with the 7 ton motorhome.

For me, they slide on pavement... and I've crushed several of them from the weight. I've never used the ramps, but I bit the bullet this past spring and had hydraulic Big Foot levelers installed.

I think the plastic may be fine for a class B van, but a 12 - 14,000# motorhome is a big ask for that brittle plastic.

Wood ramps, homemade using 2x10 or 2x12 stacked, screwed together, with as many laminates as how much height you want. 4 gives you 6" lifting height. But they can be heavy.

Will go to lowes and try.
Need angle up because easier to drive up and not move on gravel

I have a set of these I use when leveling the Axis at home:

https://www.amazon.com/RhinoGear-119...0975957&sr=8-3

They've worked now for several years without crushing.

(Of course it says out of stock LOL)

When the jacks take a wheel off the ground, I always use left over 2 bys for leveling. Remember to support both wheels of the dualies.

I got camco ones from Walmart or Amazon.. Stored under couch. No issues at 5 years. I use them during oil changes on Vegas as well as leveling.

I bought the 20,000 pound ramps for my old class C and it crushed them. They do make aluminum and steel ones but they are $$$

I just looked them up, did not realise how many styles.

I have the tri level ramps from Camco. Price I saw was $20 each. I think I paid $15 back when we bought vegas in 2016.

So far they have held up great. Even used both on one dual rear wheel to level one time.

Listen, I have never been to Montana so I can't personally verify, but I assume they have some trees or some wood lying around the state someplace

I have Automatic levelers; but I still needed Blocks. I made my own from 2" X 12" Pressure Treated wood. Then I stained them with water sealant.

I use whenever I don't like ground terrain; so I put 4 blocks underneath all of the leveler's feet; so they rest on the wood as a solid pad versus ground or unstable surface. It helps to distribute the weight. Also, occasionally my leveling jacks will raise one tire off the ground. I pull up about 18 inches and put down the pads in a combination about the height the wheel was raised, and then I drive back over it and re-level

No need to angle the wood as I have the blocks staggered. Drive forwards or reverse upon the pads although I would never go more than 3 blocks high.

I also on occasion will use the blocks staggered behind a tire as a chock as an extra layer of protection for the emergency brake

Cost $11 if you have to pay tax. Guaranteed to not break and will last longer than the RV

Anybody ever hear me crow about the best batteries in the world? My Pure Deep Cycle AGMs? If you look in the picture you may see what look like rust stains on my new concrete drive I poured when I first bought the RV. Well it all came from the leaking and sulfating, and leaking and sulfating previous OEM FLA NAPA batteries. The more I tried to keep it clean, the worse it got. Then you had to water them, I like watering trees, grass and plants; but batteries

Before I got the Big Foot levelers, I used 3/4" thick hard rubber horse stall mat (NOT office mat or exercise mats!) cut to 1' x 2' sections. They are literally indestructible, stack without slipping and easily wipe clean. I would stack/stagger as needed.

After I got the Big Foots installed, I cut six of the stall mats in half to make a dozen 1' x 1' squares. Now I use those as needed under the leveling feet (or an airborne tire if need be). We are in the mountains of WV a lot, and NOTHING is level. So these really come in handy.

This sounds like a great idea, but where am I gonna find hard rubber horse stall mats in Dallas But for OP, he might find horse stalls in Montana more readily than trees

But we use the pads / matts for exact same purposes, but I do have the added benefit to use as chocks.

If you don't find the mats you seek in the Horse stalls, you may look out for this tree? It is a Ponderosa Pine. I am putting my reputation on the line stating that it does exist because it is the Montana State Tree

I am well on my way to becoming Montana citizen. I now know the Capital of Montana - Helena, the State Tree - Ponderosa Pine and the State Pet - Grizzly

You might want to investigate some truck bed mats. I know mine is pretty heavy duty and it didn't cost too much to the door.

Very funny. I will check our farm to see if we have any

The Ponderosa pine (Pinus ponderosa) is Montana's state tree. It's a large coniferous pine tree that can grow from 50 to 180 feet tall. The tallest of the trees are about 150 years old. Found all over Western Montana, these stately trees change as the tree ages.
