Leveling system not extending

We have recently begun having issues with the leveling jacks on our 2017 Four Winds 31E. Leaving our previous stop, the jacks retracted but we got an error message telling us to return the leveling system for service. Upon arrival at our current stop, the leveling system will not extend the jacks either automatically or using manual mode on the control panel.

I have checked the novice things that I've been suggested, but still no luck. Can anyone pass along any advice for what I could check out? Oh, when we press a button to auto or manually extend the jacks, there is a clicking sound beneath the coach from the system but nothing else. Thanks!

Hard to tell from here. Don't know what system you have. Is the panel in any error mode? If it is normal then check near your coach batteries for a tripped circuit breaker. The panel is powered by the chassis battery and the hydraulic pump is powered by the coach batteries.. Also make sure the system has fluid.
Other than that, good luck.

I think I saw a post about re-setting the system, by pushing in all of the arrow buttons at the same time...
Good luck!

Thank you both. I saw a thread about this from a few years back, but after they said they found the breaker for the system, they didn't follow up with it's location. Our pump system is in a compartment forward of the house batteries, which themselves are located below the steps of the coach.

I've checked the fluid (jacks raised) but will top it off today, and I'll sign around in the battery compartment to see if I can locate the breaker that I haven't been able find thus far.

I don't think you mentioned what model coach, but on a 2015 Hurricane 27K there are two breakers in the battery compartment and I think one has a yellow trip marker that almost looks like a small handle and I believe the other is red. I have had them trip early on before I learned to stop using the Auto Level function. You can reset the systems a couple ways depending on model, mine is retract and enter at the same time. These things are very sensitive to battery voltage and also if use for any period of time will trip the breaker. Good Luck! Find your manual or search for Lippert or LCI Leveling system> Tried to upload but could not.

I had a similar issue and it was a loose cable connection from the pump to the battery. I also downloaded the Lippert app for all sorts of videos and tech support

Thanks for all the information, everyone.

After checking all I could personally, we finally got in to the dealer and had it checked out (spoke with LCI as well).

Turns out that the motor had shorted out...so short of replacing it, I don't feel too bad that I couldn't get it to work. We had that replaced and got it back working yesterday.

Wished that there was something I could have done to fix it myself, but using all of your help and from others, I got a ton of great help and information that was useful and informative.

Thanks for sharing this. That sounds like the same situation we have with our 2015 Palazzo. Everybody's input is very helpful.
