Lippert - Leveling Jack Broken

After dealing with a leaking leveling jack on my 2015 Windsport it now is missing the circular support pad. We were driving along I-275 in St. Petersburg, FL the other day, and heard a loud metallic sound. At the same time I saw something bouncing across the road on the driver's side of the vehicle.

This morning as I was crawling under the RV to determine the cause of a persistent hydraulic leak (again), I was dumfounded to see that the lever pad is missing.

The replacement cost for the leveling jack is about $550. I suspect that if I can repair the leak, and cannot make a new replacement pad, I will use a wooden block under the jack.

What is going on with Lippert? I called the company and they don't sell replacement parts for the levelers. It seems that their levelers, electric steps, and slide out mechanisms are JUNK.

Metalman Lippert does sell parts. I bought a pad last month, actually a pair of them. Go to their parts store online. But I would investigate the reason they came off. I know I will look at mine now. Would not warranty fix this?
Two pads were $96.00

Yosemitebob, Thanks for the information on Lippert parts and the leveler pad. I believe I found the pad that I need.

Shop all Lippert Components RV Parts and Accessories

It appears that the mounting bolt loosened and fell out. If that is so, I will be sure to apply thread locking compound on all of them.

I can't believe the number of components for RVs that Lippert sells. This is not very comforting, considering the number of failures I've read about on this forum.
