Lippert Leveling Jacks

I have a 2017 Miramar 37.1. I have only owned a Class A since March. When leveling. Is it supposed to jerk a little when raising, or be smooth?

Thanks

Yes, we have a 2016 and it does the same thing. I make it a habit to apply the appropriate leveling spray lubricant to the levels prior to raising.

Thanks. What is the name of the spray lubricant?

Lol, give me a little while and I will check outside in my cabinet. We are in Pigeon Forge Tennessee and in the middle of a massive thunderstorm.

Yes, it is a jerky ride. LCI recommends you drain a quart of ATF out of the reservoir and refill it with bike fork oil. That will help as well as wiping the extended jacks with some lubricant.

What happened after the jacks are grounded, there is 300 psi trapped behind the valve. The electric pump has two speedsn - off. When the coach is out of level, the computer, computes the pump time needed to correct the out of level condition, then the computer applies full battery voltage to the pump's motor. It is an all or nothing thing.

3 in one RV care silicone lube. I spray each metal shaft for about 2 seconds. Preventive maintenance.
