Lippert leveling jacks parking brake error
We could not get the Lippert leveling jacks on our 2016 Thor Miramar to operate: kept giving error to 'Set park brake (press enter to acknowledge)' even though the park brake was set.
Talked with Lippert tech support and troubleshot to verify the problem was with the control unit, and not the signal from parking brake.
Locate the control unit and disconnect the six-pin plug with a white and red wire. Use a multi-meter to check that the white pin shows ground (zero ohms continuity) on the white pin when parking brake is set; open when the brake is released. The red wire is 12v with ignition on.
If the white wire is showing ground, the control unit is faulty and needs replacing. Thor is replacing ours under warranty.
