This has happened twice now although the first time we didn't realized what we did to fix it. One side of our Lippert slide in Thor Chateau Class C does not retract/extend after sitting in campground for a few days.
We're plugged into shore power the entire time except at breakdown. Our final routine is usually: disconnect shore power, put in the slide, dump, and then raise jacks.
The "error" code on the controller blinks 8 times which indicates a short between the controller and the motor. We've reset the controller several times and confirmed the controller plugs are firmly in place. I also read somewhere that it could be related to a low amperage but our house batteries are in excellent shape.
Exhausted and frustrated we decided to start the engine. Boom, it works now.
Can anyone explain this or is our rig haunted?
