I purchased one from NAPA and it fits my E450 chassis just fine. The only problem is I have been unable to fit an retaining cord to it. The box was label F150

Some of the early built models are on the E350 chassis. Later ones are on a E450 chassis. This can be determined by checking your vin.

If so NAPA's 703-1723 fits on mine and should have fit yours
Sorry
No problem just glad I didn't order it online so I would have to deal with return it.

Semper Fi and happy 421st birthday Marine
Ooorah!
That may explain why NAPA's cap doesn't fit

Actually it's 241 years, and what does that have to do with NAPA and gas caps? Lol

That's my dislexsia showing up Lol !
I thought I was responding to "A Marine by choice" who was commenting on the fact that NAPA's locking gas cap did not fit on his 2016 Vegas because it sat on a E 350 chassis where as my 2016 is on a E450 frame. Don't know what the difference is just know it works on mine

Don't the gas lines have a screen that prevent siphoning?

I have heard that most thieves just puncture the tank on the bottom now and drain it into something.

Not that a locked gas cap isn't a bad idea - I guess it would sto someone from dumping sugar in the tank!

Having vandals add things is my main concern. I am also concerned about that with the water tank filler. I have not decided about how to handle that yet. The only solution I've thought of so far is cutting a square hole and installing a lockable door type filler. I wish they had done that for gas and water.

I have one thing of these and it fits and locks on my 2016 Axis. Unfortunately, if you give it a good twist after it is locked, it comes right off. It fits, it locks, but it comes right off without having to unlock it. I saved mine for a spare, if I ever lose my original.

Ag&Au, I've been concerned about the water fill on our coach too. There are several companies that make a surface mount locking hatch that should fit over the water fill. I looked at a few doors a while back but don't remember where I saw them. I did measure and the doors will fit over the water fill. Figure when I get time I will order one, paint it black like the water fill and install. Shouldn't have to cut anything, just drill holes for mounting, put on some caulk and good to go. If I get around to doing this soon I will post where I got the door from.

Thanks for the info, I'll start looking around for something like that. If you find one, please post a link so I can see what they look like. I have notice that most of these type of things come in white and black, so perhaps you won't have to paint it.

This is what I found, but I think it will require cutting a square hole.

locking gas cap

when I was perusing the website looking for a locking gas cap, this forum popped up, and I read it over couple of times...
I recently purchased a pre owned 2012 Thor Hurricane 29A......one of the replies stated a Stant 1058 gas cap would work, and I went on Stant's website, finding no such part #...so took a chance and ordered one with part # 10508, and it fits perfect............
Bought it thru Ebay from True Blue Auto Parts out of Hollis, NY for about 11.43.......
One previous try thru NAPA showed the gas cap for I think around 12.00, and then I would have had to pay 10.00 to have it shipped to the NAPA in Wisc....not a deal.........So hope this helps someone out there in RV Land..
and shipping was only about 2 days...........

Were you able to find one for your Vegas? I have a 2018 Thor Chateau on a 2016 E-350 chassis, V10.

Did you try to remove the locked cap after you locked it? I bought one from NAPA and it fit beautifully, but when I twisted it while it was locked, it came right off.
