Thanks, but that would be for the roof, looking for clear stuff used around fiberglass trim.

I don't know what Thor uses, but you might want to try Lexel.

My hat goes off to those who can caulk with Proflex RV and get a neat smooth finish. For me it is like caulking with a tube of unforgiving contact glue. I tape off either side of the area to be sealed; run a bead of Proflex and then run a finger (using nitrile gloves and soapy water) which is about the only way to get a smooth finish without it sticking to you. But then, taking off the painters tape at a 45 degree angle away from the seal returns small strings of proflex, Heaven help you if you try another pass with the soapy water after the tape is off in an attempt to re-smooth the edges. Perhaps I did not leave the Proflex bead long enough before taking tape off?

I wonder how hard taking cured Proflex off is going to be? I am thinking I might try DAP Dynaflex 230 which is easy to work with around the house and windows, but unfortunately it can take a week or more to fully cure depending on weather conditions and size of bead. Not sure how robust it would be on an RV.

The best thing to do to get a good line is wet your finger and use it to smooth it down... works great. As far as taking it off, it's not that difficult. I have found some that I missed and was able to remove it fairly simple.

Thanks for the pic. 2300 that's the stuff. It levels out just enough, makes the job look good, even vertical application.

I was told by Daniel at Thor just recently to use Sikaflex as that is what they use. But he couldn't say what formulas. He said he just knows its called Sikaflex. Our lower trim is coming lose so we need an adhesive to secure it, then we need to seal it. Contacted Sikaflex and they recommended 521UV, Primer-206 G&P, and Aktivator-100.

LOL Really frustrated here!

Going to buy an Axis/Vegas 24.1 and just like everything I do, no one gives the same answer /twice?

I guess at present this is the latest (I'm trying to round up in advance what I need. I also buy the phone case before the phone. Go figure) Need beating head on wall emoticon
