locked out

2014 chateau 31 door will not open no matter what we do. locks are off but door still will not open any ideas

You may be able to get some wood shims and wedge it open. It's probably jammed maybe from not being level.

The locks are cheap cast magnesium and break easily. Best to not slam them shut as most people do. That most often is the reason they break inside.

there are many instances that our door 'sticks', for some reason or another, and you really have to put your 'weight' into it, almost falling out when it pops open - most times it works as expected, though.

If your locks are in the unlocked position, I think I understood you to say that, and the door is jammed, something is tweaked. Maybe you are on uneven ground and the frame tweaked, though it shouldn't. On my former coach, on very uneven ground, even with the jacks down, things tweaked enough, that there was a cargo door or two that was very difficult to open or close.
