Getting locked out sucks, my nephews did it to us one time learned quickly to always carry my keys with me no matter what. Drives the wife nuts because she thinks I am crazy but it seems once a year we try and help someone that gets locked out. So she allows me this crazy haha

I haven’t hidden one yet but probably should just in case. I have a crazy case of OCD though bad enough that I have to take pictures when we leave to make sure doors and ovens and stuff are closed and off that I can never lose a set of keys.

I have a full set of keys in the cabinet in my outdoor kitchen and key for the storage compartments in a lock box, like Realtors use, locked to the bracket that holds the propane tank .

I was thinking of putting a set of keys in one of the locked storage compartments and then keep a key on me. If I lose the key I can just walk up to someone with a Thor and ask to use their key since on my model they're all the same key

That’s true, I have a friend with a newer MH that isn’t a Thor and his storage compartment key is the same as mine.

You just reminded me to order the vending machine type with the round key for the motorhome I did that on the old Jayco I had. They worked better than the original locks

The door and screen door lock together, mine the latch on the screen door was not in enough and this would happen from time to time. Take a close look and see if the screen door latch is catching the door jamb, you can adjust it a little where the handle slides on the black thing..
