Sealing slot in 24F slide out

I have a FW24F with a full wall slide. The seal on the bottom of the slide slot doesn't seal well and keeps wearing out - it is a pain to replace. With the slide extended cold air comes in through the slot and the bench is freezing at times. I have been putting rolled up towels in the slot with the slide open but wondered if anyone had a more "elegant" solution. Right now my thinking is to get a pool noodle cut to size and place it in the slot when the slide is out. Any thoughts?

Easy:
Insulate the inside walls of that space and toss a folded blanket in there instead of messing with a pool noodle. If you get the blanket stapled to some areas it'll be self setting and fold and unfold with the slide.

There's no need to cure the exact spot of the seal.

And/Or

Fancier:
A small 12v silent computer fan blowing into that opening from your coach will serve to counter any exterior cold air and will also set the area to interior ambient.

Cut a square of styrofoam from a 4×8 from one of the big box stores to wedge fit in the box seat just above the water and electrical lines. Easy peasy and works like a charm.
