Looking for Panel Fastners
In the rear or our coach is a curved panel at the top corner of the wall that hides some cables. One I know is for the rear camera. That panel came loose from the wall on one side, so when we go bumping down the road I will find a cable or two hanging down.
The panel fits into a slot on the bottom and has a staple like fastener that is driven into the ceiling. I tried using a standard staple gun, but the staples are not long enough to go thru the barrier and into the ceiling.
The staple is a fine wire like piece with an L shape at it's top. See the attached photo.
Does anyone know what these staples (or nails) are called? I'd like to see if I could find a tool myself to fix it. I tried looking at upholstery tools with no luck as well as other types of fasteners I could think of.
I attached three photos. One shows the location in the rear of the coach in the bedroom with the cables sticking out. The other is a picture of one of the "nails or staples" that I pulled out. Sorry, it may not be the best picture. The piece is at the end of the needle-nose pliers.
Thanks, John
