Loose gas supply

I bought a gas hose to hook up to the port on my ACE 27.2 to connect to the grill.
The first time I tried to use the quick connect it pushed the whole works all the way in. If it did that going down the road it could be a hazard as it’s right in front of the wheel. Not just a gas hazard but if it got under the wheel going forward it could pull a lot of stuff down. The glue had given up so it was just setting in the hole. I put a large hose clamp around it from behind, going to put a couple screws in it and the appropriate glue too unless I think it needs to be able to come apart.

I had the same thing on my ACE 29.3. Like you, glad I found it in the driveway and not going down the road.

I glued and then installed screws. It will not fall apart again.
