Smile Loose Windshield gasket

The gasket at the bottom drivers side is loose and flops around allowing lots of water to gather. It feels like it is all the way into its channel or track, so nothing to pop back in.. My plan is to secure it in with a clear sealant/caulk.. Any thoughts?

Is the water getting into the cab of your RV?
If not: I'd do what you're planning to do.
Just get the sealant spread as far into that gap as possible, and hope that it fills it in completely.
Good luck!

(If water is getting in: it's time to call in the experts...)

There was another thread on here were someone was complaining about water buildup under the gasket. Sorry, I don't remember which, but one of the posters stated that they purchased a kit designed to reseal that gasket. I want to say it was black to match.

Many have done that to no avail. That’s one of the many reasons this forum exists, to share real world fixes..
I have called the manufacture many times for various issues. After a while, you get a feel for which issues to call for, and which issues to ask the forums for..
