Low voltage at startup on 2021 Aria 3901

I get a low voltage on startup on my dash every time. It does always clear in about 5 seconds and doesnít seem to act like low voltage.

It takes a few seconds after start up for the alternator to kick in and start sending juice through the system. Perfectly normal.

Agree, perfectly normal. I installed a dual voltage monitor in a spare switch space because I like to monitor voltage on my house and chassis batteries (itís actually pretty interesting). I can see the voltage drop on the chassis battery while starting and I can see exactly when the alternator connects to the house batteries a few moments after startup. The house batteries will go from 12 ish volts to 14.

A friend worked at General Motors, his entry level job was replacing bad batteries installed on the assembly line.

Have you checked the voltage on your battery before starting the motor?
If you don't have a volt meter they're about $20 at walmart, they look complicated but aren't.
You should be seeing about 12.5 DC volts before starting the motor.

The grid heater is always going to run dropping the battery voltage

Happens on all Cummins powerd units

Perfectly normal

Saw that very often on our Tiffin Bus, which was Cummins powered.
