LP CO detector fault

In Cortez CO. Woke up at 2 AM this morning with the LP/CO detector beeping. It's an Atwood unit in a 2016 coach. Green light on, amber light on, red light flashing, and a beep every 30 seconds. My first thought was low voltage on the house batteries, but they were at 13.5 (I'm on shore power). It seemed to go for 4-5 minutes, then clear up for a minute, then start over. Went back to bed with TV on, but this was like a drippy faucet. Pretty soon there was no pause, just a beep every 30 seconds. Back up at 3:30 reading the Thor manual - no help. Went on line to find the manual for the Atwood unit - found it, but no help - just says to clear the fault, but doesn't say ho to do that. I finally pulled the fuse to regain my sanity. Tried to find the Atwood website - doesn't exist as they were bought by Dometic. Vacuumed the front of the detector, put the fuse back in, still beeping. It's now 6:30, and I'm thinking I'm going to pull the unit. I'm trying to pull the trim off to get to (what I think are) mounting screws when suddenly the fault goes away, and it's passing the push button test.

I have no real idea what caused this, other than the fact that around 8 PM last night, a mosquito fogger went close by, and we had the door open. Maybe some of the fog creeped in and fouled the detector? Anybody with thoughts on this?

Perhaps someone had too much Chili:

In all seriousness: I think I would have simply cut the wires and yanked it out of the wall in the morning (and eventually replacing it).

Probably correct...that fog is a fuel based product the turns to vapor when they spray in on a hot coil. I use Pirethrin and diesel in my fogger.
