City water inside hose replacement

My city water flex hose sprung a leak in my 2014 ACE. Has anyone replaced this hose? Is there a better hose than the OEM one? Was it hard to snake the new hose through the under floor area from the inside connection to the outside connection? Fortunately, the leak was in the "basement" compartment that houses the water heater and furnace and not in the coach itself. The furnace is fine. I have tested it to make sure.

Got a picture? What was this flex hose connected to?

A couple more questions. just curious
What caused the leak, freeze, rubbing on something?
How long is it, hopefully very short?

Take the inside connection loose, be careful don't lose it.
Now take the outside connection out and see if you can pull a little out, be very careful!
If it seems like you can pull it out tape or tie it together with the new hose overlap the hoses to keep the joint as small as possible.
Get your helper to push the new hose as you pull the old.
Good luck and if it doesn't work try it from the other direction.

Let us know how it's going.

If it's loose you can use a nipple to couple the hoses together.

You can pick from several but be sure they are NSF rated

In the past i have used a internally braided style and since you only need a 100 psig rating or so that part is easy but check to be sure

Flexible and tough sounds like the main criteria

Issue resolved

I had the DW help me locate the correct hose to see how it was run from inside to the city connection. I had to remove the city connection from the MH and found the hose connection was very loose, so I tightened it up, connected a water hose and tested it, no leaks. Screwed it back into the motor home tested it once more and no leak. I love simple fixes.
